Dining Options

Welcome to Campus Dining

OCU is dedicated to providing the highest quality food and service in each of our dining venues. Our dining program offers students, faculty and staff a variety of food options, ranging from traditional dining with hot dishes and a salad bar, to a coffee cafe and retail market.

Eating well and maintaining a balance between school and physical demands means being aware of your on-campus options. Dining Services is committed to offering you a wide range of balanced choices and cuisine options to fit varying needs.


Daily Menu and Information

Students have two options to be able to access daily menus and detailed information about Dining Services and each venue listed below.

  • "Dine on Campus" Mobile App

This app can be downloaded on any android or apple phone. It provides access to daily menu items in each dining venue with dietary information, ways to provide feedback, info on special events occurring, and access to the contact information for Dining Services staff.

This website provides access to daily menu, nutritional resources, meal plan overview, specials, catering, staff contact info, and employment opportunities.  


Dietary Accommodations

Dining services offer food selections to meet a variety of diets and dietary needs. Students with special dietary needs are expected to communicate their needs and restrictions to the Dining Team. Students with food allergies are strongly encouraged to contact Michael Miller ([email protected]), General Manager, to discuss safe food options on campus. Special circumstances such as medical needs should be processed through the Office of Disability and Access Services to determine if further modifications/accommodations are needed. Dining Venues

The main dining facility on campus, the cafeterias serve up a host of meals each day with an eye for variety across various stations. The cafeteria is equipped with the following stations: a homestyle and comfort line, Fuyl stations that serve healthy and clean eating options, an exhibition line that changes daily along with the stations of the daily made to order grill, Ms. June’s Deli, soup and salad, pizza, and dessert station. All stations and items are all you can eat. This venue can be found on the 2nd floor of the student union.

Breakfast: 7 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

Lunch: 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Continental Lunch: 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Dinner: 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Saturday & Sunday

Brunch: 10:00 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Dinner: 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Alvin’s Market is a convenience store concept that provides a variety of snacks including vegan, vegetarian, dairy free, and paleo options. Alvin’s also provides a wide range of health & beauty products, pantry items, and cleaning products. Inside Alvin’s Market you will also find a WPS Starbucks that offers signature coffee drinks, smoothies & protein shakes, and fresh baked scones, croissants, local donuts, and other bakery items. We also offer fresh salads, wraps, sandwiches, fruit cups, parfait’s, and other various items to grab and go. Alvin’s Market can be found on the 1st floor of the student union right between the bookstore and Kitchen 1904.

Monday to Thursday: 7:30 a.m. to midnight

Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Saturday: Closed

Sunday: 4 p.m. to midnight

This dining venue is a quick and convenient dining option for students looking for customizable meals that can be made to order for each student. Menu items such as a custom or standard bowl, hot sandwiches, or sweets like milkshakes. Options can be healthy, savory, sweet, and other choices. Items can be made to meet many dietary and nutritional needs. It is located on the 1st floor of the Student Union.

Monday to Thursday: 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Friday: 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Saturday: Closed

Sunday: Closed

Meal Plans

With various dining options, students can pick the meal plan that best suits their needs. Meal plans can include weekly meal swipes that work at the cafeteria and points, or just points. Points are dining cash that can be used at the market, or at either dining venue tax-free. Points must be used within the fall and spring semester, as they do not transfer to the following year and are non-refundable.

Every residential meal plan includes a set number of swipes that can be used for meal exchanges at Kitchen 1904 instead of the cafeteria. Meal Plan A offers 7 swipes, Meal Plan B has 5, and Meal Plan C provides 3. These swipes are included in your weekly allotment, which resets each week.

All students living in on-campus housing are required to have a meal plan. Meal plan choices vary due to assigned accommodations. Students in Banning Hall, Draper Hall, Methodist Hall and Walker Hall are required to have a residential plan, and students residing in Cokesbury have the option of a residential plan or an apartment plan.
