From the Director

Welcome to the 糖心vlog视频 City Physician Assistant Program. Booker T. Washington once stated, 鈥淚n proportion as one renders service he becomes great.鈥 The goal for our program is to train students to provide service to those who need it and in doing so become servant leaders to individuals, families, healthcare facilities, and to our profession. Our exceptional faculty serve as the foundation of our program, and our foundation is very strong. Faculty continually tailor the curriculum of our program to exceed the standards of modern healthcare, meet the needs of our students, and all who will seek care from our graduates.

At OCU we strive to create a quality learning environment in which students are supported and mentored in a way that will allow them to achieve their goals both as a provider and as a professional. The leadership and support of our faculty create this personal and professional mentorship for our students. Taking the common practice of training PA students, and doing so in an uncommon way to provide excellence for our students.

For myself, my career as a provider and as an educator has been molded by many individuals and experience. I began service to others through medical practice after graduating from the University of 糖心vlog视频 Health Science Center in 2001. I consider it a privilege to have served as a primary care provider in family medicine, a hospitalist in internal medicine, as an acute care provider in various care settings, as well as a faculty member in PA education. Now as Program Director for the OCU PA Program, I am honored to work alongside our faculty to facilitate a training program of continued medical excellence and of service. Recognizing that our students are the PA Program, I hope to assist in continuing to mold an ideal learning experience for each of our students to allow them to become 鈥済reat鈥.

Again, I am honored to be a part of the OCU PA Program and I look forward to working with and for each of you!
