Giving Back

What we are trying to achieve as a business…

Since setting up my own business it has always been in the forefront of my mind that whatever I do I want to give back to local communities. Whether that be offering apprenticeships as we expand, getting the team involved in local charity events and so on. Then I realised why just do one or two of those things, when we can potentially help hundreds of different organisations as the business grows with every invoice.

Here are a list of the charities we have helped, take a look at what they do and hopefully you will be inspired by some of them.

Thanks for reading and have a great day 😃.

Doing It For Dan

One that was recommended to us very kindly by Graham Hancock was Doing it for Dan. Which is an amazing charity and we are grateful for sharing.

Doing it for Dan was set up in memory of 11 year old Daniel Climance who was tragically killed on 10th June 2015 when he collided with a road sweeper whilst out riding his bike. Doing it for Dan has been set up to encourage children and young adults to engage and participate in sport and leisure activities by awarding grants to individuals and organisations in Wiltshire and its surrounding areas. For more info visit do some great work for local kids and if you would also like to help navigate your way through to their Virgin Money page.

Newcastle Dog and Cat Shelter

Newcastle Dog and Cat Shelter was actually one of Kirsty’s recommendations as living only a mile from it, she knew of the costs associated with looking after thousands of unwanted animals. They house a variety of animals from Dogs, Cats, Rabbits, Ferrets whilst also housing horses pigs and many more farm yard animals. They were established in 1896 and have two sides across the city. In the 100 + years they have been running they have helped 1000’s of animals find loving and safe homes.

Hitchin Helping Hands

Hitchin Helping Hands is a local charity in Hertfordshire run entirely by volunteers. They have a core committee who provide day to day administration, and a number of volunteers who help with driving and social activities.

Hitchin Helping Hands provides transport for the elderly and people with disabilities to meet in the community in a caring manner, allowing them to be part of the community and continue to enjoy a level of independence.

HHH can now help disabled and elderly people from the rural areas to  get out, often to keep essential appointments. The charity operates from its Hitchin base to cover villages in the North Herts area.

Children North East

Children North East exists because growing up can be hard. They create life-changing differences for babies, children and young people in their families, schools and communities.

They offer support at those times when a little help can make a big difference for a child and its future. They are also the times when, if things go wrong, they are likely to have a far-reaching, detrimental effect on the child.

Their mission is that all North East children and young people grow up to be healthy and happy.
