Biography
Chenguang (Shine) Xu is an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science and Mathematics Department at ÌÇÐÄvlogÊÓƵ. His core research interests are in information visualization and visual analytics. His work focuses on developing visual theories, visual techniques, and visualizations for revealing complex patterns in the data pipeline. He is particularly interested in the application of interactive visualization techniques for statistical anomaly detection, fairness forensics, and causality. He earned a Ph.D. in computer science from the University of ÌÇÐÄvlogÊÓƵ and received the OU Gallogly College of Engineering Dissertation Excellence Award.
