Biography
Dr. Letassy completed degrees in Zoology and Secondary Education from Southeast Missouri State University, a BS in pharmacy from University of Missouri at Kansas City, a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Texas, and a post-doctoral residency in Adult Medicine at Brackenridge Hospital in Austin, Texas. She has served as a pharmacist clinician in the Cardiovascular Risk Reduction Unit at the VA Medical Center from 1990-1996. From 1996 to 2016 she served as a diabetes provider/educator in the Family Medicine Center on the University of ÌÇÐÄvlogÊÓƵ Health Sciences Center. She has been a College of Pharmacy faculty member at the University of Texas and the University of ÌÇÐÄvlogÊÓƵ Health Sciences Center. She joined the ÌÇÐÄvlogÊÓƵ PA program in January 2016 to teach the pharmacotherapy content of the curriculum to first year PA students.
