Biography

Evelyn Walter holds a Bachelor of Science in Dance Management and Entreprenurial Business Minor from ÌÇÐÄvlogÊÓƵ (OCU) and an MBA in leadership from OCU. As a student, she was an active member of the American Spirit Dance Company, Pep Dancers, and the Spirit of Grace Liturgical Dancers. Her dedication to both the artistic and managerial aspects of the theatre led her to positions such as a production assistant, assistant stage manager, head deck crew member, wardrobe crew member, and assistant moving lightboard operator. Evelyn was President of Students of Arts Management and received the Blue Colbalt Award for the most promising dance management student in her junior and senior years.

Evelyn's journey led her to San Antonio, where she thrived as a stage manager at SeaWorld before returning to ÌÇÐÄvlogÊÓƵ City. Her return to OCU saw her take on various roles, including coordinator for the dance department and ultimately the Company/Production Stage Manager position.

Evelyn has also worked backstage for numerous dance competitions. In addition to her Company/Production Stage Manager role, she has taught Production 1 and Stage Management, integrating practical experience into her instruction. Evelyn's journey reflects her commitment to both the art and management of dance.
