Biography
Allie Longoria joined the OCU community in the fall of 2021. As the Director of Student Engagement, Allie has oversight of the programs of services within the Office of Student Engagement and works most closely with Orientation, First-Year Experience, Parent & Family Services, First-Generation student programming, leadership programming, and advises OCU’s Miracle Marathon.
Allie holds a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Students from Texas A&M University and completed her master’s degree in Higher Education from the University of North Texas in 2012. Allie was born in south Louisiana, and grew up in Grapevine, Texas. Prior to moving to ÌÇÐÄvlogÊÓƵ City, Allie supported Texas A&M University and its students through working at the university’s alumni organization for 5 years. She started her career in Student Affairs at the University of North Texas working in student retention and with students in crisis. She also spent a few years at Texas Woman’s University in Orientation and First-Year Experience Programming.
Allie and her husband enjoy exploring ÌÇÐÄvlogÊÓƵ City, trying new restaurants and watching college football and baseball! Their dog, Eli, rules the house, but soon will have to share with the addition of a tiny human in 2023!
